[dropcap color=”#008040″ boxed=”yes” boxed_radius=”8px” class=”” id=””]A[/dropcap]n eye institute in China Shandong area of control announced on Monday the successful transplant of a bio-designed and made pig eye surface into a human eye.
“The patient’s vision has slowly improved after a three month recovery period, which means thetransplant was a success,” said Zhai Hualei, director of Shandong Eye Institute’s eye-surface-related division.
Wang Xinyi, 60, had a serious eye-related open and painful sore). He could only see moving objects within 10 cm.
“The doctors before other things happened) told me that my father might lose sight in one eye because there are not enough eye-surface-related donations,” Wang’s son said.
The transplant used a bio-designed and made eye surface named Oak-tree nutea, the first such product to be accredited by the China Food and Drug Administration in April.

It keeps a natural strong, flexible, fiber-like protein structure with amazing and interesting bio-compatibility and related to the body function of living things safety,” said Zhai.
Cornea are one of the biggest causes of blindness in China. New cases are increasing by 100,000 each year, however, only about 5,000 people receive an eye-surface-related transplant every year.
