Rakul Preet Singh’s brother Aman Preet Singh arrested in a drug case
The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau in a joint operation with Cyberabad police‘s Special Operations Team (SOT) and Rajendranagar police arrested five drug sellers including two Nigerians, for selling cocaine to high-profile customers in the city.
Amongst the arrested accused is actor Rakul Preet Singh‘s brother Aman Preet Singh for alleged consumption of cocaine in Hyderabad.
The five arrested are Aniketh, Prasad, Aman, Madhu and Nikhil.
“We seized 199 grams of cocaine worth Rs.35 lakh, two passports, two bikes, 10 cell phones, and other incriminating material from their possession,” said the Telangana police after a raid on a flat in Hydershakotla in Narsingi.
Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty said that Aman is one among those customers.
Out of 13 consumers, five were arrested and all five persons got positive reports for cocaine when their urine samples were tested.
“It is an ardent request from Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau to the youth/ students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach police,” the Telangana police said in a statement.
Last year, Rakul Preet Singh was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a drug trafficking and consumption case.
