
Narendra Modi set to begin his third straight term as prime minister
Ahead of the oath-taking ceremony, Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi visited Rajghat to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.
Following his visit to Rajghat, he paid tributes to stalwart BJP leader and former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at his memorial ‘Sadaiv Atal’.
He also offered his respects at the National War Memorial, a monument to soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice for the country.
Supporters were present in sizeable numbers as the prime minister-designate visited these monuments.

President Droupadi Murmu will administer PM Modi and his Council of Ministers oath of office at a ceremony in Rashtrapati Bhawan on Sunday evening.
Leaders from neighbouring countries and the Indian Ocean region will attend Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. The visit of these leaders to attend PM Modi’s oath-taking ceremony is “in keeping with the highest priority accorded by India” to its “Neighbourhood First” policy and “SAGAR” or Security and Growth for All in the Region vision, the external affairs ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
The leaders who will be present are Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu, Sri Lanka President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Seychelles Vice President Ahmed Afif, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.
The leaders will attend a banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday evening.

Why they do not allow them to rest peacefully & keep going for eyeballs or scoring a political point, just for symbolism. Media also should stop printing such visits. It has zero news in it.
