Bharat, Sanatan Dharma, and the need for eternal vigilance

Israel-Hamas war – A lesson for Bharat

The Israel-Hamas war will soon enter the urban warfare stage when Israeli troops enter Gaza City. As mentioned on this forum, Hamas was anticipating that its well-developed extensive tunnel network would be hard to detect and destroy and the war would grind on with lives lost on both sides – combatants and non-combatants alike.

This is not rocket science, it’s developing along expected lines. There are a few takeaways that I would like to present and invite comments on.

We all know and understand that the Hamas attack and its consequences could have been prevented if there had been no intelligence failure on the part of Mossad, the CIA, and other peripheral intelligence agencies.

My take is that there was intelligence failure not because of a lack of resources but because of overconfidence on the part of Israel and its allies.

Overconfidence leads directly to arrogance and complacency.

So confident were the Israelis in their ability to keep Hamas in check that they forgot the most basic lesson – that Hamas is an Islamic terror group, sworn to eliminate Jews from the face of the earth. And that almost every Muslim nation, barring a few from South Asia, has an ideological and religious affinity for this agenda.

After all, it’s sanctioned in the holy book, it’s preached from every masjid and madrassa every day by each mullah and maulvi. The slaughter of kaffirs and Ghazwa-e-Hind is reality, a path which leads directly to heaven. There is no sin involved in killing non-Muslims, no matter how barbarically. On the contrary, this is the path to salvation and celestial reward.

The problem is that while every religion has, over the centuries, reformed and adjusted its ideologies and practices to a changing world, only Islam continues to exist by tenets that were laid down more than 1500 years ago.

Any talk of reform is considered blasphemy which carries a death sentence. This suits the Islamic leaders perfectly because there’s nothing easier than whipping up public sentiment on religious grounds and this keeps them powerful and in control of the masses, the majority of them poor, deprived, and uneducated.

Therefore, my first contention is that we must never be complacent about Islam, and its core ideology of intolerance and violence. To be overconfident and complacent will sound the death knell of our own religion, our culture, and our nation.

We’ve seen this over the centuries, in every part of the world and it’s now taking root in Europe and the USA. There is going to be no reform in Islam, ever. Qayamat will not arrive until every non-Muslim is slaughtered.

As I remarked earlier, overconfidence and arrogance go hand in hand. The music festival where hundreds were slaughtered was held in Gaza, a few kilometers from the border. What on earth were the Israelis thinking? Music, dancing, women – it’s like waving a red flag in front of a bull for the Islamists! And that too 50 years on the anniversary of the Yom Kippur war! Even a child could have told you that it was a day to be most cautious about.

Israel has had incredible prosperity over the last few decades – they’ve exported and profited from the sale of technology and weapons to every country in the world, including China. Did they really think that this wasn’t going to lead to jealousy and hatred from their Islamic neighbours? That’s the blindness that comes from overconfidence and arrogance.

My real fear is that Bharat is falling into the same trap. Good things are happening to our country. Pakistan is economically devastated. Kashmir militancy is under control. Militant Islamic organizations in Bharat are in check. There have been no major communal riots for almost a decade. Our economy is booming, our future appears secure.

Do you think Pakistan is celebrating our success??

On the contrary, they, their leaders, and I.N.D.I.A. Alliance proxies are seething with anger, jealousy, and hatred. They’re keeping it under wraps for now but the cover is paper thin. At the right time, their true Islamic agenda will come to light.

Is Bharat and its majority Hindu population sliding into the same overconfidence, arrogance, and complacency?

Bharat needs to be eternally vigilant. Not paranoid but ETERNALLY VIGILANT.

So I sometimes despair when I see Indian political parties blindly siding with Islamist groups, giving overt and covert support to organizations that would tear our country apart, in the hope that they will come into power and privilege in the future. They’re nothing more than vultures who’d peck at the flesh of rotting corpses and should be named and shamed as such.

I despair when I see political leaders entering and being feted in Hindu temples and places of worship purely to prove that they are Hindu. What are the priests and organizers of such false visits thinking? Don’t they have a duty towards their religion? Can’t they boycott such visits and refuse to entertain and bless these treacherous political leaders? Or are they greedy and unprincipled enough to sell their dharma for a couple of lakhs of rupees donation to their temples?

I despair when I see our impotent judiciary giving so much leeway to people with a confirmed, publicly stated anti-Bharat stance. The Supreme Court will open at midnight for a hearing on the rights of an anti-national but a middle-class citizen can never approach its hallowed gates. Unless you’ve never been at the receiving end of justice delayed for decades, you will never realize what a joke the judicial system’s efficiency is like. Without judicial reform, every gain we’ve made in the last 10 years will backslide into oblivion. But no political party, including the BJP, is willing to take on this privileged and incompetent judiciary head-on.

I despair when I see legislation that would lead to equality for all citizens and a resurgence of Sanatan Dharma blocked and obstructed with impunity in Parliament.

I despair and fear for the lives of Mr. Modi and his cabinet members who, despite knowing that it takes just 1 madman to carry out an assassination, continue to address public rallies where they mingle, unprotected, with the crowds.

I despair when I see Islamic “scholars” (Is there any such thing?) protesting about discrimination against the Muslim minorities in Bharat, knowing full well that it’s only in this country that they’re safe from bigotry and violence from their own religion. The Shia-Sunni divide worldwide is there for everyone to see all over the world.

The above are all signs of overconfidence and arrogance. Thinking that Islamic militancy and their agendas are under control in Bharat is crass stupidity, idiotic, and blind.
After the genocide of 2nd World War, the Jews of the world vowed: “Never Again“.

Regrettably, it did and is happening again.

The Hindus and believers in Sanatan Dharma of Bharat are nowhere as resolved or focused as the Jews of Israel.

Learn a lesson from what’s unfolding in front of our eyes to a nation that, like us, is surrounded by enemies who would like to see its every citizen annihilated. Resolve as a nation to give no quarter to those who would return us to the dark ages. Resolve never to be swayed by international rhetoric and hidden agendas who would like nothing better than to see Bharat turn into a battleground for regressive and divisive forces.

We’ve emerged from a thousand years of occupation, slavery, poverty, and dominance. Let not Bharat’s future generations bewail the fact that we, the citizens of today, despite knowing the dangers of radical ideologies and religious bigotry, did nothing to prevent our own destruction.

Jai Hind.
