CVoter Survey: After 9 years in office, 73% happy with PM’s work; 70.5% satisfied with Centre’s works

To mark nine-years of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central government, CVoter conducted an exclusive pan-India survey. The survey tells what people think about the 9-years of PM Modi’s regime.

As many as 73.02 percent of the respondents of a survey are satisfied with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work since he assumed office nine years ago, while 25.8 percent feel otherwise.

Close to three out of every five Indians are of the opinion that the Narendra Modi regime has been marked by “strong decisions” over the last nine years

70.5 percent of the respondents of a survey are satisfied with the BJP-led Central government, followed by 27.6 percent who feel otherwise, while 2.36 percent of the respondents said they cannot comment on the matter.

According to the survey, as compared to 2023, in 2022, 68.85 percent of the respondents were satisfied with the Central government’s works, while 28.25 percent felt otherwise.

As many as 53.8 percent of the respondents of a survey are of the opinion that the Narendra Modi regime, despite the allegations levelled by his critics, has retained a clean and corruption-free image over the past nine years since assuming office. However, 37.3 percent of the respondents feel the contrary, while 8.9 percent say that they cannot comment on the issue.

According to the survey, 55.2 percent of the respondents from the rural areas and 50.5 percent from the urban areas feel that the BJP-ruled Central government has retained a clean and corruption-free image over the last nine years.

The survey also claimed that 54 percent female and 53.6 percent male are in favour of the Modi regime when it comes to retaining a clean and corruption-free image, while 39.6 percent men and 35 percent women felt otherwise.

Maximum respondents in the 45 to 54 age group — 62.2 percent — feel that the Modi regime, despite allegations levelled by its critics, has retained a clean and corruption free image, followed by 60.9 percent in the 35 to 44 age group who also feel the same.

During the survey, 48 percent of UPA supporters stated that the “Modi regime has taken strong decisions”. The numbers are significantly higher for Modi supporters with three out of every four Indians sharing the sentiment. Supporters of Modi often boast that he has always taken strong decisions even when they have been politically risky. Many cite demonetization as one such political risk taken by Modi.

Three out of every five Indians are of the opinion that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been successful in projecting India as a global power over the last nine years.

Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014 after he led the BJP to a historic majority of 282 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
