Darshan Hiranandani’s confession lands Mahua Moitra in deep trouble
TMC’s vociferous MP Mahua Moitra landed in deep trouble on Thursday after real estate baron Darshan Hiranandani turned approver, confessing bribes, and gifts given to her and she allowed him to log into her Lok Sabha website to provide questions against Adani Group. In an affidavit before Parliament’s Ethics Committee, Dubai-living Hiranandani reveals his close relations and Mahua forcing or pestering him for frequent payments from 2017.
“She (Mahua) shared with me her email ID as a Member of Parliament, so that I could send her information, and she could raise the questions in the Parliament. I went along with her proposal,” confessed Darshan Hiranandani on how used to provide questions against Gautam Adani after losing a mega project of the Indian Oil Corporation.
“She was delighted at the response she received to the first set of questions that I had sent her relating to the Adani Group,” said the statement of Hiranandani. The statement also detailed Mahua’s close relationship with Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, and BJD MP Pinaki Mishra. Mahua joined Indian politics in 2012 by joining in Youth Congress and was in Rahul’s close team till she landed in the Trinamool Congress in 2017.
“The demands that were made and favours that were asked included, gifting her expensive luxury items, providing support on the renovation of her officially allotted bungalow in Delhi, travel expenses, holidays, etc, apart from secretarial and logistical help for her travels within India and to different parts of the World.
“I could ill afford to displease her. Many times I felt that she was taking undue advantage of me and pressuring me to do things I didn’t want to, but I had no choice, because of aforementioned reasons,” said Darshan Hiranandani in his three-page affidavit. Mahua was caught after her ex-partner Advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai approached CBI demanding a probe of taking cash for asking questions in Parliament. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey approached the Lok Sabha Speaker, demanding the expulsion of Mahua Moitra from Parliament.[1]

She is infallible, innocent, independent, some what loud mouth and all men hawks are pouncing on her like rabid foxes / wolves….(parrots are beautiful also) She is first time MP, she did not even complete her MLC tenure & became an MP, people are jealous on her success, she put kajal that does not mean she is dark hearted !!
