[dropcap color=”#008040″ boxed=”yes” boxed_radius=”8px” class=”” id=””]A[/dropcap] standalone net profit of Rs.236.8 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2015 was posted by leading pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.
Standalone net profit grew by a whopping 230.7 percent compared to the net profit of Rs.71.6 crore posted in Q3 of fiscal 2014 – 15, a rise of Rs.165.2 crore in the third quarter of current fiscal 2015-16.
According to the unaudited quarterly results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Dr. Reddy’s total income from operations grew to Rs.2,428.6 crore in the quarter under review from Rs.2,150.9 crore.
Total expenses rose to Rs.2,169.3 crore from Rs.2,124.6 crore in the year ago quarter.
On a consolidated basis, net profit rose to Rs.579.2 crore in Q3 2015-16 from Rs.574.5 crore while total income increased to Rs.3,967.9 crore from Rs.3,843.1 crore in Q3 2014-15.
