Chandigarh blast: Explosion outside rapper Badshah’s nightclub in Sector 26

A low-intensity explosion occurred early this morning outside a nightclub in Chandigarh’s Sector 26, owned by the popular rapper Badshah. The blast, which was reportedly caused by crude bombs, took place around 3 a.m. No injuries have been reported so far.

According to police, two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle threw the bomb at the club. The explosion shattered the glass windows of the nightclub, but fortunately, no one was harmed in the incident.

Chandigarh Police have launched an investigation into the blast, with forensic teams already at the scene. The teams are working to gather evidence and identify the perpetrators. Police are also looking into potential motives behind the attack.

This incident comes months after a similar low-intensity explosion occurred in September outside the residence of a retired police officer in Chandigarh’s Sector 10. That attack, which involved a grenade, damaged windows and flower pots but resulted in no casualties. Punjab Police later arrested two individuals in connection with the grenade attack, who were allegedly linked to a Pakistan-based terrorist organization, Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), and were said to be operating under the direction of Harwinder Singh (alias Rinda) and Harpreet Singh (alias Happy Passia).

Details surrounding the latest blast in Sector 26 are still emerging, and authorities are working to determine the full extent of the attack and its potential connection to previous incidents.
