B.Tech student’s body found on railway tracks after father receives cryptic text saying ‘sar tan se juda’
Nishank Rathore, an engineering student from Bhopal was found cut in two on the railway tracks near Obaidullaganj town in MP’s Raisen district on Sunday evening. His father had received a message that read, “sar tan se juda,” hours before the corpse was discovered by the police.
Police have recovered Nishant’s phone from the spot where his body was recovered.
Nishank Rathore’s father received on his phone just before his death: “Rathore Sahab Apka Beta Bohot Bahadur Tha… Gustakh e-Nabi Ki Ek Hi Saza, Sar Tan Se Juda. ” Uma Shankar Rathore, the father of Nishank, received the message at 5.44 pm on Sunday evening. After reading it, he tried tracing his son.
Nishant’s post-mortem was conducted at AIIMS Bhopal on Monday afternoon. According to the Inspector General of Police (IG), Narmadapuram range, Deepika Suri, the cause of death impacted from a moving train.
This is the sixth murder after Umesh Kolhe, Kanhaiya Lal, Munish Bhardwaj, Ankit Jha, and Shanu Pandey. They all were murdered for supporting Nupur Sharma.
