Action was taken based on the information about dealings in terror funds worth crores of rupees
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday raided the home and office of BJP leader Asma Khan Pathan in relation to a terror funding probe. Apart from her home in Nadiad in Gujarat, the NIA team also raided her firm New Bharat Hing, which produced the brand, Krishna Hing. It is learned that they were exporting raw materials from Afghanistan for the spice product Hing (Asafoetida). The company is owned by her and her husband Abdul Khan Pathan.[1]
Asma Khan Pathan, earlier in Congress was active in Social Media and for the past 15 years associated with BJP’s Minority Cell. She is known to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was an invitee among the 150 members of Social Media in 2014. Asma is currently a Member of the Wakf Board. She claims Modi as her mentor. Yesterday she in a Tweet reply admitted the NIA raid at her home and company and claimed got clean chit and nothing found from her home.

A few weeks back a BJP activist from Jammu and Kashmir was caught by police for terrorist links. The arrested Talib Hussain was arrested by Police and found that he was LeT’s local commander and infiltrated into BJP Cells. His photos with Union Home Minister Amit Shah created controversy.
