PM says students’ feedback will help strengthen reforms as the government moves ahead with tougher action against paper leaks
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday thanked young people across the country for their overwhelming response to his late-night video message on tackling paper leaks, saying their feedback and suggestions would strengthen the government’s efforts to reform the examination system.
In a message posted on Instagram, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the positive response his video had received and acknowledged the suggestions shared by students and young citizens.
“Thank you, friends. I got the opportunity to meet you last night. The way you have responded to the video and sent insightful suggestions… thanks to everybody,” PM Modi said.
“Your love for me will remain, and our relationship will grow stronger. Thank you, friends,” he added.

The achievement came amid ongoing student protests in Delhi, following which the Prime Minister shared a follow-up video thanking the youth for their overwhelming response and valuable suggestions.

PM promises tougher action against paper leaks
The Prime Minister’s message comes amid continuing student protests over the NEET paper leak.
In his late-night video released on Thursday, PM Modi described paper leaks as a serious issue affecting lakhs of students and their families, and said the government had already taken several steps over the past two-and-a-half months.
He said those responsible for the paper leak had been arrested and jailed, while emphasising that ensuring students did not lose an academic year remained the government’s top priority.
PM Modi also announced that the government was moving ahead with plans to establish fast-track courts for paper leak cases.
According to the Prime Minister, departments submitted the proposal late on Thursday night, following which it would be placed before the Union Cabinet for approval. He said the government would attempt to introduce the proposed legislation in Parliament during the coming week.
CJP sticks to resignation demand
Meanwhile, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which has been leading the protests over the NEET paper leak, continued to press for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The Centre has already initiated several measures, including the transfer of Higher Education Secretary Vineet Joshi to the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and the removal of 47 National Testing Agency (NTA) employees.
On Friday, CJP representatives met Union ministers and submitted a charter of demands, including compensation for families of students who allegedly died by suicide following the NEET paper leak controversy.
However, government sources indicated that Dharmendra Pradhan continues to enjoy the BJP leadership’s support and is not expected to be removed from his post.
