Russian spokesperson claims US plotting ‘Arab Spring’ against Bangladesh’s Sheikh Hasina
The current generation has fallen into a trap set by the United States. You may recall the events of December 15, 2023, when Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, stated in a press briefing that if Sheikh Hasina’s government remains in power following Bangladesh’s upcoming elections, the United States would use all its resources to overthrow her administration. Zakharova suggested that with “all its resources,” the United States intends to create a scenario similar to the “Arab Spring,” involving university, college, and school students.
Donald Lu and Peter D Haas have been friends for about 31 years. Peter D Haas was the US Ambassador to Bangladesh. You surely have remembered that. When Peter Haas was appointed to Bangladesh, he had a special assignment to reduce China’s influence in the Indo-Pacific region and make Bangladesh a member or strategic partner. However, Peter D Haas could not achieve any success. Then Donald Lu visited Bangladesh several times before the election. He tried various methods regarding the election but was unsuccessful. The United States can tolerate everything but never forgets an insult in foreign policy. The United States suffered a severe defeat in foreign policy with Bangladesh. Thinking that they will let go of this humiliation is nothing but foolishness. For Peter Haas and Donald Lu, and thus the US administration, Bangladesh is a name of defeat.
The honorable Prime Minister often indirectly speaks of her death because she knows about the US’s vengeful nature. She says she does not fear death. Now we understand why she says that.
On December 15, 2023, Russia clearly stated that there would be student protests in Bangladesh after the election and that a situation similar to the Arab Spring would be created. In the current July, we saw the beginning of these protests. Before this, the CIA had prepared all its collaborators. Some of these collaborators are institutions, some are individuals.
It’s noteworthy to observe the entire incident. How does the CIA focus on the quota issue!! How they kept an eye on the writ filed in court!!! How they monitored the High Court!!! How they managed to spread this issue as a content of resentment among the students!!!
The issuance of the writ, and judgment after the writ, the High Court shall certainly investigate all these incidents chronologically and collect information at every point.
The new generation has fallen into the American conspiracy without understanding anything. They are not expected to understand such deep diplomacy, nor do they have the courage.
Our youth did not witness the Liberation War; they did not see the time after it. I don’t think they know much about the conspiracy between the US and Pakistan in the assassination of Bangabandhu and the subsequent events. At some point, people understood the calculations behind the assassination of Bangabandhu and what the US and Pakistani agencies wanted, but by then, the damage to this country was done.
Now, they don’t understand what’s happening; they will understand it twenty years later. By then, they will beat their heads and cry, but there will be nothing to do. They will lament, feel attacked, and say that their destruction has occurred, but no one will come to save them.
The generation might ask me, “Well, we went to rallies and meetings knowing the verdict. How will the CIA come into this?”
This is where the calculation lies. One needs to think here:
- Why was the writ filed?
- Why was the High Court’s verdict such?
- Who were the initial protesters?
- Why did they come out before the appellate division’s verdict?
- Who fuelled the fire?
- Who provided the internet?
- Who helped so much behind the scenes?
- Who came and provoked them?
- What are the coordinators’ accounts for the last five years?
- Who are they?
- Why & Which newspaper gave so much coverage initially?
- Who kept calling and inquiring repeatedly?
- Who & Why was eager to provide all kinds of help?
The generation will have to pay a heavy price if they misinterpret ‘Sheikh Hasina.’ In our youth, our father was one of our main adversaries. He wouldn’t let us socialize with friends, attend concerts, go on trips, or go out alone. So many complaints.
Today, I understand everything. I comprehend everything. But I see that my father is 83 when I hold his hand. Time has flown by like a stream.
Please preserve this writing of mine. It will be useful. Many from this generation oppose me now because I disagree with them. But they should know that I am a straightforward person. It may feel unpleasant now, but one day they will regret it. Whatever I do, I will not misguide this generation.
By creating unrest in Bangladesh, and fostering anti-India sentiments through cricket, an entire generation has been created. They are just waiting for Sheikh Hasina to die. After that, in this South-Western subcontinent, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and several other Muslim countries will unite, playing the old British game of “Divide and Rule,” which will severely hurt India. Don’t forget that in World War II, America’s biggest friend to stop Hitler was Britain. For the last four years, Modi has been leaning towards Russia. America is not taking it well. They will strike India at the opportune moment.
So friends, be very careful. I hope your situation will not be like mine in Bangladesh and other countries such as Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Please, friends, circulate this highly important message among all your friends and relatives as much as possible. At least they will understand who your real enemy is. This is indeed a very concerning situation, and we must unite.
