‘Boycott Pathaan’ trends after the release of the first song from the movie ‘Pathaan’
Soon after the release of the first song from Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan, #BoycottPathaan started trending on Twitter.
Social media users have expressed their discomfort over the ‘not so decent visuals, while some have raised the issue of Deepika wearing a saffron bikini in the song titled – ‘Besharam Rang’.
Twitter handle @StarBoy2079 tweeted, “In psychology, it’s called Implicit Cognition U r not consciously aware but some thoughts incepted into ur mind subconsciously In this song
Boy: Mslm, Matcho, Hot, Green color
Girl: Hindu, half naked, ready to surrender, Saffron color
Song: Besharam rang
End result: LJ”.
After the trend started, an old video of Shah Rukh Khan’s interview where he is allegedly talking about “growing intolerance,” is resurfacing again on social media. Netizens have also been circulating photos of Deepika Padukone visiting JNU to stand with the ‘Tukde Tukde’ gang

“In Beshram Rang song, Deepika Padukone is shown wearing saffron clothes & doing cheap vulgar acts. Bollywood is deliberately making fun of the divine color of Hinduism. while Pathaan SRK is wearing green clothes. This is also the hidden agenda of #LoveJihad.”
