Body of man with chopped hand found near Haryana-Delhi Singhu border
In a shocking and horrendous incident, a mutilated body of a man, with hand chopped off, was found hanging on a police barricade at the farmers’ protest site near the Singhu border.
The man was brutally murdered near the farmers’ protest site Friday morning, the local police confirmed.
According to the horrifying images that have surfaced on social media, the semi-naked mutilated body was seen hanging from a barricade.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Lakhbir Singh. The Dalit man was brutally thrashed, hands and legs were chopped off and the body was tied to a metal barricade near the protest site. The deceased hails from Punjab’s Tarn Taran.
Reportedly, the body was found at the same place where farmers have protesting against the three contentious farm laws for the past one year.
It is being alleged that the man was caught while desecrating the Sikh religious holy book, however, an official confirmation about this is still awaited.
As per the images, it is possible that the man was tortured before he was killed. This incident of the brutal killing of the man has sent shockwaves around the country.
As per the latest reports, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body and they have sent the body to a nearby Civil hospital and further investigation is going on.
The police from both Haryana and Delhi can be seen on both sides of the border. Notably, the farmers’ protest has also been in the past taken violent turns.
On October 3, Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh witnessed a vehicle-ramming attack and mob lynching incident during the farmers’ protest. In the incident, four farmers were killed apart from five others.
Meanwhile, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has alleged that Nihangs murdered the 35-year-old whose one hand was cut from his wrist.
Farmer organizations claimed that so far 630 farmers have died protesting against the three farm laws for the past year.

Nothing shocking about the incident at the protest site. For making up the numbers the organizers have hired these goons and criminals, chase them away and the number of real farmers will become obvious. The agitations like this can be wound up in matter of days if the executive and courts are on the same page, but the vultures are waiting in the wings. Just like the CAA agitation a major law and order issue is what we need to wait in this distorted democracy to get over the farm agitation. The right time to come down heavily on the agitators was soon after 26th Jan Tamasha, and now we are paying the price.
