PGurus had written about the state of politics in Tamil Nadu and the machinations of various factions in the AIADMK and DMK’s efforts to wean away some legislators so they can stake a claim to form the government.
Subramanian Swamy has written a letter to the Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh, requesting him to impose President’s Rule in Tamil Nadu, in view of the administrative disarray. He further expressed fears that a sleeper cell of the ISIS in the districts of Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Madurai and Kanya Kumari districts has been activated. This cell along with some elements sympathetic to the leftover LTTE (Liberation Tigers for Tamil Eelam) could cause an upheaval in the state.
