Indians can now visit Thailand without visa for the next six months

Thailand has decided to waive visa requirements for travelers from India and Taiwan from next month to May 2024, a government official said on Tuesday,

According to Thai government spokesperson Chai Wacharonke, arrivals from India and Taiwan will be permitted to stay in Thailand for 30 days.

Thailand aims to attract more tourists in the peak season to rev up its economy, with the move of scraping visas. The country aims to attract 28 million tourists as its new government hopes to bring a slowing economy back on the growth path.

India has emerged as Thailand’s fourth-largest source market for tourism this year with about 1.2 million arrivals. Malaysia, China, and South Korea constitute the first three respectively.

Thailand has already waived visa requirements for Chinese tourists in September to attract more visitors.

From January to October 29, there were 22 million visitors to Thailand, generating 927.5 billion baht ($25.67 billion), the latest government figures showed.

  1. Everyone wants money, but not spirituality !! This reminds me of a anecdote

An Westerner goes to a Church & finds a old landline, which Father tells him it is for calling God & it would cost US $ 10,000 per call. The westerner visits many other countries & everyone tell him the same & also on similar call charges. Finally he lands in Bharat & visits Church (Temple) and sees the same type of old telephone, curiously he asks Father (Head Priest) Sree Iyer on it & get same reply, but charges are INR 1 (Rs. 1) surprised he ask again Head Priest Sree Iyer with Trishul (Vertical & Horizontal) tells him, dear Son (Beta) it is a local call direct to God !!

That is the power of Bharat – from where you can talk to Gods directly !!!
