Twitter suspends account that raised voice for Hindus

Continuing on its legacy of kowtowing to the evil alliance of liberals, Twitter once again is providing a shield to the rapists and murderers of Hindus.

Twitter has suspended ‘Stories of Bengali Hindus@storiesofBHs, a handle that has been a voice of Bengali Hindus from East Bengal. The persecuted Hindus from East Bengal could come together and share their stories of intergenerational/ transgenerational trauma which was untold and ignored.

Recently, Twitter had silenced the voice of Hindus who are being persecuted by radical Islamists on the grounds of religion in Bangladesh.

Twitter had shut down the accounts of ISKCON Bangladesh (@iskconbdh) and Bangladesh Hindu Unity Council (@unitycouncilbd), which exposed the on-ground brutality faced by Hindus in Bangladesh.

“We, the team of Stories of Bengali Hindus, dejectedly announce that our Twitter account @storiesofBHs has been suspended by Twitter. We got to know about this on 01/12/2021 at 07:17 hours IST.

Our Twitter journey has come to an abrupt halt for now.”

He further tweeted, “We have received an email from Twitter stating that we were suspended in view of “ban evasion“.

Point to note that ‘Stories of Bengali Hindus’ has never been suspended in the past, and this one was our first.

We appeal to Twitter Support asking for more explanation for this suspension.”

He said, “Stories of Bengali Hindus had been a place where Bengali Hindus from East Bengal spread across the world could come together and share their stories of intergenerational/ transgenerational trauma which were untold and ignored. Twitter has, through this, put down our voices and stories.”

Dr. Das further tweeted, “We are considering all options as of now. We request everyone to rally support for us.”

Kanchan Gupta, Senior Adviser, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reacted to this incident by tweeting, “This handle ‘Stories of Bengali Hindus’ would tweet factual stories of Bengali Hindus, many of them based on archival material and books. So Twitter what offence has been committed? Or is this to show that your biases under Parag Agrawal remain what they were under Jack?”

Netizens came out in support of Dr. Das.

One of the tweets said, “Is this what freedom of expression means, suppressing the account which tells the stories of the generation of east Bengalis which suffered trauma and got a power to build back stronger with each passing generation, is it insane Twitter India.”

Another Twitter user said, “New CEO, old fascist tactics…Twitter Support remains the same!!

They’ve suspended @storiesofBHs on bullshit grounds. Please tweet your support to the team of “Stories of Bengali Hindus”, they’ve been at the center of highlighting the plight of Bengali Hindus in Bangladesh”

Twitter silences the voices of those whom it doesn’t like. While the Taliban, one of the most derided terrorist organizations in the world has an active account on Twitter, others get suspended for raising their voices rightly.
