A defence minister of a country with 80pc Hindus, Why he can’t follow Hindu culture? Why Hindu’s and there culture is criticised every time. Is there any country other than India where Hindus have representation in government.
There are 50 Islamic countries in world. They have right to follow their religion. But there is no Hindu country in the whole world.
@Durga Prasad: Being Defence Minister does not take away identity of a person, and its hypocritic to criticise based on that. Also, Culture of a country can not be wished away, and cannot be sign of embrassment.
As far as history goes, Congress Defence Minister also used Christian practices while inaugurating INS Vikrant.
Is that justified in name of securalism.
Why do people cry only when Indian culture is followed.
to clarify, Congress former defence minister mentioned above was A K Antony, who is Christian, and followed same practices when in power.
The point here is of propriety. As RM he has no business to push one kind of religious practice when spending tax payers’ money!
What Kharge does in his party or Modi does in his party is inconsequential!
