Brings Deve Gowda closer to BJP. Is Akali Dal also close?
For the 2024 Lok Sabha poll preparations have begun in full swing. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been forced to read the writing on the wall from the Karnataka verdict and has swung into action. Will this result in drastic changes or new alliances? Let us see.
First round of talks with NDA alliance partners
In a strategy drawn by Amit Shah, contentious issues are being settled with each of the political allies of the NDA. Effectively speaking, Amit Shah has held the first round of talks with ADMK’s Edappadi Palaniswamy EPS and Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde. BJP expects to seal alliances with Akali Dal and the Telugu Desam Party by the end of June.
RSS patchup in the works?
Was the Karnataka verdict a message by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) that the top two in the government were not listening to them? Internal debate in the BJP is that Amit Shah is emerging as a second top most confidant of Modi and RSS leaders.
New allies?
Is the trinity of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah & J P Nadda roping in 3 new allies? And as cherry on top, two senior Indian National Congress leaders too will be joining? Wait and watch!
