Devendra Fadnavis to return as Maharashtra CM after 30-month hiatus; most likely to take oath as CM on July 1
After Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray resigns as Chief Minister of Maharashtra, speculations are on for the next move of the BJP and the rebel MLAs of the Shiv Sena. As per sources, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is most likely to return to power with Devendra Fadnavis as chief minister.
As per sources, Devendra Fadnavis is most likely to take an oath as the Chief Minister on July 1. Fadnavis was at the Taj President’s hotel for a legislative meeting when Uddhav Thackeray resigned, and the celebration began with the distribution of sweets. Slogans were raised in support of Fadnavis as the next chief minister.
Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly, Fadnavis is already in touch with Eknath Shinde, whose rebellion led to the collapse of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.
BJP National General Secretary C T Ravi will reach Mumbai for a core meeting with party leaders at 12 PM today.
Uddhav Thackeray stepped down from the top post on Wednesday evening when the Supreme Court refused to stay the floor test. Maharashtra saw the Maha Vikas Aghadi’s political turmoil for around 8 days.

Goodbye Maharashtra and maybe Goodbye India.
No ethics, no values, no honesty , no integrity, etc left. It’s all power and money and vice versa.
Temples abound with politicians and their vibes.
God’s would have made an exit from them. Staying back in them would be akin to approving these characters.
Earlier saints used to meditate in caves and forests. Now an honest man must pray to God outside these temples.
