Shrinking Hindu civilization
THOUGH as per Arnold Joseph Toynbee (1889-1975), the acclaimed British historian of civilizations, “Civilizations die from suicide, not murder”, Hindu civilization is getting destroyed because of the government’s discriminatory laws and policies.
Hindu civilization has already lost the lands now known as Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh which used to be Hindu lands.
It is tragic that with each passing day, Hindu civilization which proclaims universal brotherhood and one-ness of humanity is shrinking even in the present truncated India because of successive governments’ pseudo-secular, discriminatory, and minority-appeasing policies.
Though Indian Constitution’s Preamble ensures “JUSTICE”, “LIBERTY”, and “EQUALITY” for every Indian citizen, and though its Article 15(1) prohibits discrimination against any citizen on the ground of religion, successive Indian governments have been implementing discriminatory laws and minority appeasing policies which are destroying Hindu civilization.
Nation divided into majority and minorities
Real “secularism” implies separation of State and religion; “equality before the law”; one nation and one law; same rights and same laws for every citizen irrespective of his religion; and no division of the nation into majority and minority.
But in India, anything which is discriminatory and pro-minority is proclaimed as “secularism”.
Though the Indian Constitution does not define the terms ‘majority’ and ‘minority’, the Congress government’s “National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992” divided the nation into ‘majority’ and ‘minorities’ on a religious basis. As per this Act, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians were notified as minorities in 1993, and Jains in 2014.
Apart from creating the Ministry of Minority Affairs in 2006, Congress-led minority governments passed pseudo-secular and discriminatory Acts known as:
- Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act, 1991.
- The National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992.
- Wakf Act, 1995.
- The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.
After getting power in 2014 on promises of “justice to all and appeasement of none” and “Uniform Civil Code”, the Gandhian BJP government has continued to implement Congress-led governments’ all the above-mentioned Acts; and it has also continued the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Besides continuing the Congress-led government’s all discriminatory laws, the BJP government has vastly expanded the Congress-led government’s minority appeasing policies which have crippled Hindu society and are destroying Hindu civilization.
Furthermore, on July 3, 2022, Prime Minister declared in BJP’s National Executive Committee’s meeting at Hyderabad that BJP’s goal was to take India from “Tushti karan” (appeasement) of minorities to “Tripti karan” (full satisfaction) of minorities.
Enlargement and consequences of discrimination
BJP government’s enlargement and consequences of discriminatory policies are described as follows:
I. New schemes for minorities
As the opposition party, BJP had termed the Congress-led government’s creation of the Sachar Committee and Minority Affairs Ministry in 2006 as “communal, divisive and appeasement of minorities”.
But the BJP government has retained this Ministry; and has vastly expanded minority-appeasement policies by launching many new schemes like “Nai Manzil”, “Nai Udaan”, “Naya Savera”, “Shaadi Shagun”, “Padho Pardesh”, “Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram”, etc. for minorities.
Under these schemes, the government is spending thousands of crores of rupees every year for financial and educational incentives, scholarships, etc. for minorities.
ii. Crores of scholarships
After winning the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, the BJP government declared five crore scholarships for minorities on June 5, 2019.
iii. Right to Education Act, 2009
As mentioned above, BJP is implementing all Congress-led government’s discriminatory Acts including the “Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009”. This Act provides for the government’s rigid control only over Hindu-run schools since minority-run schools are exempted from this Act.
Moreover, this Act requires these schools to provide almost free education to at least 25 percent of students from weaker sections.
This Act has made the cost of Hindu-run schools prohibitive shutting thousands of Hindu-run schools all over the country.
iv. Forgotten “Uniform Civil Code”
Uniform Civil Code is the basic feature of any democratic and secular country, and it prevents discriminatory laws and policies.
Though BJP’s Election Manifestoes of 2009, 2014, and 2019 had promised to implement Uniform Civil Code; though Supreme Court has suggested its enactment in many of its judgments; and Article 44 of the Indian Constitution stipulates that “The State shall endeavour to secure for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory of India”; it has not been implemented so far.
On December 9, 2022, BJP’s Shri Kirodi Lal Meena introduced the Uniform Civil Code Bill in Rajya Sabha as the Private Member’s Bill. But this fact serves no purpose since if BJP were serious to fulfill its promise, this Bill should have been introduced by the government.
v. Education Policy, 2020
National Education Policy, 2020 further expands minority appeasement in the domain of education.
Chapter 6 of this Policy has created Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (S.E.D.G.s). Though earlier education policy was having special provisions for SC, ST, OBCs, and females, National Education Policy, 2020 add minorities also in “S.E.D.G.s” for special treatment.
As for school education, Chapter 14 dealing with higher education also contains special privileges for college education which S.E.D.G.s including minorities have been given. These include special funds and scholarships, the creation of separate colleges and universities, the relaxation of norms for admissions, etc, etc.
vi. Hindu places of worship
India’s prominent Hindu temples having assets worth thousands of crores of rupees are under the government’s control whereas minorities’ places of worship enjoy freedom from this control.
This is depriving Hindus of the self-supporting infrastructure for their places of worship.
vii. Pathetic plight of “Equal Rights” Bills
In 2016, Dr. Satya Pal Singh introduced Bill Number 226 in Lok Sabha. This Bill sought amendment of the Constitution’s Article 15, and Articles 25 to 30 to extend religious, educational, and cultural rights stipulated therein, to every community, whether majority or minority. This Bill wanted to treat Hindus at par with other communities.
Since the government did not pass this Bill, it lapsed.
And his similar Bill No. 205 introduced in Lok Sabha in November 2019 has also not been passed.
viii. Fragmentation of Hindu society
The above-described discrimination is crippling and fragmenting Hindu society since to claim minority benefits, and to save their religious and educational institutions from the government’s control, some Hindu sects claim that they are a minority, and they are not Hindu.
Pioneers of the Ramakrishna Mission like Swami Vivekanand were glorious Hindus. But to save its educational institutions from the government’s takeover, Ramakrishna Mission unsuccessfully claimed before the Supreme Court that it was a (non-Hindu) religious minority covered by Article 30 of the Indian Constitution.
Many Lingayats in Karnataka also want minority status to save their religious and educational institutions from government interference.
Besides, numerous financial and educational incentives to minorities are an open invitation to vulnerable sections of Hindu society to embrace minority religion.
Way out
Can Hindu civilization survive this bombardment of the government’s wholesale discriminatory policies?
The damage being caused to “Sanatan Dharma” and Hindu civilization by these policies is permanent and irretrievable.
Civilization is a precious, but delicate possession. If not properly nurtured and defended, it disappears.
For Hindu heritage to survive, victims of discrimination must stop being Gandhian. They must assert themselves to stop this blatant discrimination and to acquire the same equal rights as are given to other communities.
In a democracy, politics is the best instrument to bring the desired change. Discrimination is a political problem that can be solved only politically.
Both Congress and BJP, two major political parties in India, are pseudo-secular and minority-appeasing. Other political parties also follow pseudo-secularism.
Though the government has no right to reward or punish any citizen because of his religion, no political party is opposing the discrimination being continued by the BJP government.
Therefore, the only way to save Hindu civilization and the Hindu identity of truncated India is that the patriots must form a new political party to wield political power to dismantle the pseudo-secular apparatus; and to ensure the same laws and same rights for all Indian citizens irrespective of their religion.
However, till such a political party is formed, a peaceful movement should be launched to request the BJP government:
- To abolish the Ministry of Minority Affairs; and to help all deserving Indian citizens irrespective of their religion. (Government can do this just by executive order without any voting in Parliament.).
- To implement Uniform Civil Code as promised in BJP’s Election Manifestoes of 2009, 2014, and 2019.
Victims’ silence over the above-mentioned discrimination would be self-sabotage.
Touching tribute to Hindu civilization
Impressed by ancient Hindu civilization’s all-embracing and all-inclusive nature, in 1952, Arnold J Toynbee, eminent British historian, stated that India would culturally “conquer her conquerors” in these words:
“At this supremely dangerous moment in human history, the only way of salvation is the ancient Hindu way” …….. At the close of the twentieth century, the world would be dominated by the West, but in the 21st century, India will conquer her conquerors.”
But to affirm Arnold J Toynbee’s touching tribute, the above-mentioned action to stop the discrimination, and to implement “same laws and same rights for all Indian citizens” must be taken so that Hindu civilization survives and prevails.

Since this article is just asking for same laws and same rights for all Indian citizens irrespective of their religion, no one can have any objection to this just and fair demand.
No one can have any vested interest in continuing the discrimination.
Accordingly, the patriots must support this just and fair demand.
Sustained efforts made in this direction are bound to succeed.
Learned Advocate Shri J.G.Arora has Positively Attracted National Cultural Lover’s Attention, Point by Point in his article.
All the “True Citizens” should Seriously think about it, and should come forward to Resolve these Grave issues. Although, situation in INDIA is Growing Very Worse … Day by Day.
Many Citizens in INDIA, Understands, These issues. But, Not Ready to Come forward and Try Resolved it.
So, Our Indian Citizens are Feeling Very Helpless and Very Cheated by Their Own Elected Representatives.
Note:- Comments on this article by Mr.Sudhir Gupta, Sushree and Ramesh Mayya are also, to be Noted… particularly of Shri Ramesh Mayya, who has Presented a True and Practical View on “Current Political Atmosphere” along with Voter’s Mindset too…
Mr. Arora has raised a very important issue. Due to these anomalous provisions and laws Hindu society is in great danger. I have been raising this issue for quite some time and have sent similar representations to the PM, Law Minister and Law Commission but to no response. Public awareness is the only way out. The difficulty is that generally people do not take interest in such matters and it is difficult to find like minded persons. To create a political party is also very difficult as people join political parties not for national development but for self develop and for gaining money, respect and facilities only. But we have not to lose hope and must keen on working hard for the cause of Hindu society and Sanatan Dharma.
History shows that civilisations which became too soft, and did not defend themselves, disappeared. Since Hindu civilization also has become too soft, it is shrinking because of the government’s pseudo-secular and discriminatory policies.
Therefore, to ensure the survival of Hindu civilization, as mentioned in this article, the victims of discrimination must assert themselves and request the government to give all Indian citizens the same laws and same rights irrespective of their religion.
Thank You. Firstly, we have to acknowledge the existence of a genuine problem that is threatening the very existence of the Republic of India. The survival of Hindu Civilization and of Hindu religion could be of secondary importance. This Land that we identify as Bharat or India is getting plundered by foreign countries which are conspiring to seize the political power to gain control of its natural resources. Their agenda is not that of converting the pagan or idol worshippers of India and save their souls. The underlying motive is that of economic expansionism. If not the religious minorities, the threat posed by the Communist inspired Naxal Movement can destroy the identity of India.
Unfortunately, politics gets involved even if the mission is to just save the Hindu Civilization. The adversary is aiming to control the access to political power using every type of opportunity to divide the population into warring groups and take advantage of the lack of cohesiveness which is a must if we have to formulate a single national policy that keeps the country united and strong.
We need a political campaign to delegitimization the terms minority and majority. Since, India allows the freedom of religion and provides access to foreign organizations to spread their religions in India, we need to take into account the global power asserted by religions like Islam and Christianity in the world. In fact, they are the true rulers of the world. China has also transformed into a global power and they wield an immense power to degrade the Indian society using the tool of class warfare. For that reason, the so called backward classes need to be fully integrated into the Indian society by destroying the culture that encourages numerous kinds of incentives to sustain a separate social identity as if they are not the citizens of the country.
The political parties must be put under pressure to get rid of the concept of majority and minority as the Nation is just one entity whose very existence is at stake.
Shriman Arora-ji has again cataloged the self sabotaging and self debasing agenda of the ruling party led by MODI who has surpassed italian origin so-called opposition party, khangress. Ministry of minority affairs must cater to left behind *real minority*, not the fake minority i.e. true bahujan majority [example- BSP of Mayawati] consisting of colonial criminal communalists + OBC, SC AND ST.
Unless and until, we resist the on-going erosion of our wealth, values, land rights, ultra nazi expansion [cemetery land gab – i.e. theft of land even after death for burial] might continue, ultra because nazi seldom committed any sex crimes – Jewish women have been safe unlike our unsafe women as in

Though same laws and same rights for every citizen is the basic requirement of any secular country, the fate of Uniform Civil Code is described in the article as follows:
“Uniform Civil Code is the basic feature of any democratic and secular country; and it prevents discriminatory laws and policies.”
“Though B.J.P.’s Election Manifestoes of 2009, 2014 and 2019 had promised to implement Uniform Civil Code; though Supreme Court has suggested its enactment in many of its judgements; and though Article 44 of Indian Constitution stipulates that, “The State shall endeavour to secure for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory of India”; it has not been implemented so far.”

Very good argument. But the question is -how many Hindus will vote for the new political?Once Hindus start voting en-mass, all secular parties including AIIM will work for Hindu causes and civilization.
For that to happen, Hindus have to feel the potential harm and subsequent pain that the author is eluding to, which is unlikely to happen, at least not anytime soon.
It is an excellent article. Its message must reach every well-wisher of Hindu civilization.
Well it’s too late for it , Hindu civilization is taking its last breath and as Hindu i can’t take this any more i rather see Hindu civilization stand with no other religion including secular and Neo Ambedkar and Muslim and church and woakism and communist, etc. Rama rajaya sorry but it will not happen in next 10000 years .
