Facing political extinction Kejriwal on a new drama – Fast unto Death. Delhiites say – “Saala Nautanki! Ghadi ghadi drama karta hai…”

The so-called panacea of full statehood is not people’s concern, except in the wild dreams of a person sitting in Delhi Chief Minister’s chair as control over Police is not with him.

Kejriwal is well aware that he is not going to get any seats in Lok Sabha and will be a distant third in the next year’s Assembly elections in February 2020

The Drama King of Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that he is going on a fast unto death for a never-approvable demand of full statehood for the capital city of Delhi. Any sensible person is aware that full statehood to Delhi, which is the capital of India cannot be a full-fledged state as law order, security and land allotments have to be under the Central Government. Then why is Kejriwal doing such a non-sensical announcement of fast unto death? Those who know him well think that he will find a way to make a U-Turn.

He is well aware that his days are numbered in politics as Delhi State Assembly Elections are due in 11 months – by February 2020.

Though no one wants the death of Kejriwal as a key entertainer in politics will be gone, people are scratching their heads on how Kejriwal will withdraw from his fast, which is just days away (March 1). Delhi is the capital of India and sensitive subjects like policing, law and order, control of land has to be rest with Central Government. Being a Union Government controlled area; people of Delhi enjoy a lot of tax benefits leading to price reduction in many commodities, compared to nearby Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Getting full statehood is only the personal dream of any person sitting in Delhi Chief Minister’s Chair, as he can enjoy the power of keeping Police like other Chief Ministers of full-fledged states.

Residents of Delhi are not bothered about this issue, as their life depends on three entities – namely civic issues on Municipal Corporation, Roads, Education, Health sectors falls under State Government and rest of the sensitive subjects like Police, Security, major funds fall under Central Government. In a nutshell, the so-called panacea of full statehood is not people’s concern, except in the wild dreams of a person sitting in Delhi Chief Minister’s chair as control over Police is not with him.

Now let us get back to the chameleon-kind-of-change-in-behaviour of Arvind Kejriwal. He is well aware that his days are numbered in politics as Delhi State Assembly Elections are due in 11 months – by February 2020. As the Congress party has decided to avoid any alliance, Kejriwal is well aware that in Lok Sabha April/ May 2019 elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is going to lose in all seven seats. It is known to all that, AAP will come a distant third in all constituencies if Congress puts up a strong fight against the BJP.

For the past two years Kejriwal was begging Sonia Gandhi for an alliance with his party and even at Kumaraswamy’s swearing-in ceremony in Bangalore he pleaded to Sonia Gandhi for this. In the presence of all leaders, she just shooed him away, even after he offered four seats to Congress. Now Congress is so unhappy with Kejriwal for his over-smartness to appease Sikh votes and bring a resolution in state Assembly for withdrawing Bharat Ratna given to Rajiv Gandhi.

Now Congress has decided to finish the over-smart Arvind Kejriwal, the Frankenstein Monster created by them to stop the BJP in Delhi. Kejriwal is well aware that he is not going to get any seats in Lok Sabha and will be a distant third in the next year’s Assembly elections in February 2020. So some drama has to be created to escape from the political arena. That is why coming with a new drama of fast unto death. Delhites have already started saying – “Saala Nautanki! Ghadi ghadi drama karta hai…”
