Congress in a serious anti-Gita-Press Sentiment – to please his Master?

20-6-2023: Just to please his master Rahul Gandhi, the AICC media cell incharge Jairam Ramesh tweeted that Gandhi’s peace award of one crore to Gita Press is somewhat equal to giving the award to Godse and Veer Savarkar. This tweet of Jairam Ramesh created a flutter in Uttar Pradesh Congress. People close to Priyanka Gandhi phoned Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi that BJP will use this twist in UP and finish Congress vote bank of Hindus. In TV news debates, the Congress spokespersons were told to say that it was not the Congress party’s official stand. Like Digvijaya Singh’s comment on Balakot, Rahul Gandhi did not embarrass Jairam. Interestingly Jairam Ramesh the son-in-law of K V Ramanathan, an IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre is a great Sanskrit scholar. Jairam wrote a book on Bhagwat Gita. A difference between Bhagwatham and Bhagwat Gita. Today Jairam Ramesh has put Congress in a tight spot in North India. A day after the Centre announced the prestigious Gandhi Peace Prize for Gorakhpur-based Gita Press, the publisher announced that it will receive the citation but not accept the Rs.1 crore cash award that comes with the prize.“We never take any awards or donations. In this present case, we are going to receive the citation but we will not accept any award money as receiving a cash award will be against our principles,” Gita Press manager Lalmani Tiwari.

New look for New Delhi!

Forget the natural concrete look or the traditional black and white street colours. And forget about dirty under spaces occupied by homeless people. Eight flyovers in south Delhi are to get a G20 makeover that will give city roads a smart appearance. A flyover at Raj Nagar in South Delhi between Safdarjung Hospital and Sarojini Nagar was recently painted yellow, blue, and orange. The space beneath the four-lane flyover has been cleaned and fenced off to keep encroachers away. New grilles, painted in the same hues, have been installed. “This is part of the flyover beautification work,” said Shashanka Ala, special secretary, PWD. “We have selected a few flyovers on this segment of Ring Road for such work. Few other flyovers will also be beautified similarly. We are also trying to use the spaces underneath the flyovers to set up indoor game facilities and sports activities. ”

Gadkari cares for Truck Drivers

All truck cabins will have to be mandatorily airconditioned from 2025, providing much-needed comfort to drivers who often spend 11-12 hours in their sweaty confines. The tough work conditions and long hours on the road are often cited as a key reasons for driver fatigue and accidents.
While high-end trucks manufactured by global players such as Volvo and Scania already come with air-conditioned cabins, most Indian players are yet to graduate despite a debate on the issue for several years.
Union Road & Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that he has approved a proposal to make ACs mandatory with officials saying that a transition period of 18 months was necessary for the industry to upgrade.

Modi wants RS MPs to contest for LS in 2024

In a major problem for Nirmala Sitharaman, Dr. Jaishankar, and Dr. L Murugan, the three Tamils in Rajya Sabha will have to find Lok Sabha constituencies either in Tamil Nadu or in Karnataka. “Some of the key Union ministers are in Rajya Sabha. BJP is thinking about fielding a few of them in the 2024 contest. It is especially keen on those who have acquired credentials by performing in their ministerial jobs. Besides, the party has also asked some of its MLAs in different states to prepare for Lok Sabha polls,” a senior BJP leader said.

Traffic jam in mid-air in the next 10 years? 1000 planes to fly!

In Modi’s Governance, the airlines have flourished well. Tata has ordered 450 aircraft from the USA. Now Indigo. Later it will Vistara. What is happening in the Civil Aviation Industry? A huge bump. It is all due to Modi. Of course, it is the concept of Modi in the next 10 years, even a villager who wears Hawaii chappal must travel in’ Hawaijahaj” in English which is Aircraft. IndiGo, which placed a historic order for 500 A320s with Airbus on Monday, currently operates nearly 310 aircraft and enjoys an over 60% domestic market share. IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers said the airline will double its fleet size by 2030.
Its large orders help it have a young fleet of fuel-efficient planes through continuous replacements alongside fleet augmentation, a process slowed by current supply chain constraints.
IndiGo’s order book, comprising a mix of A320neo (new engine option), A321neo, and A321XLRs (extra-long range), has almost 1,000 aircraft yet to be delivered well into the next decade.

Manipur Ethnic Conflict instigated against Modi

In a major crackdown on data, the intelligence agencies IB, RAW with the help of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Union Ministry of Finance, are looking into high-value transfers and transactions in Manipur in the last six months to investigate if there were any links with the recent ethnic violence in the state.
The agency is looking into all the financial transactions above Rs.20 lahks from January 1 onwards, they said.
“All the high-value transactions in the last six months including foreign remittances, and high-value donations to charitable institutions are under the scanner. The agency has zeroed in on about 150 “suspicious” accounts of individuals, including those of some local leaders and a few charitable institutions, which show an unusual pattern of money transactions, the official added. These 150 accounts were also spread out in the neighbouring states of Mizoram and Nagaland. The agency is also probing transactions of two Manipur-based companies with previous records of money laundering, officials said. Five online betting and gambling companies are also being looked into. Two of these sites were blocked by the Ministry of Electronics and information technology (MeitY) in February.

Is Yeddy sidelined in the Karnataka BJP?

Not only in the elections but veteran B S Yediyurappa is also being missed by the BJP even now as an opposition party. The party leadership is now determined to zero in on some leaders who would be trained to put up an aggressive face in Karnataka. Yes, BJP is on the back foot. After its defeat in Karnataka, the BJP appears to be struggling to find its feet as an opposition party in the state. Many in the central leadership say that the BJP is yet to get credible voices from its Karnataka unit to ensure that the party acts as an aggressive opposition against the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in the state. While the Congress has accused the Centre of “conspiring” to derail its poll promises by stopping the sale of rice and wheat under the central pool, the state BJP’s defence has been weak, party leaders said, adding that the BJP is yet to get a leader with the gravitas to take on the Congress government.
