IT Ministry blocks Telegram channel targeting Hindu women
The Telegram app-based channel uploading highly derogatory photos of Hindu women has now been banned. A complaint on Twitter mentioned that the channel was created in June last year in which the group members targeted Hindu women.
After the Sulli deal and the Bulli Bai app, a new controversy has emerged on social media where now Hindu women with derogatory words and photos are being targeted and bullied.
The IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has banned the app-based Telegram channel taking cognizance of the row on social media. The Government of India got the channel blocked and has assured action against those behind this.
