My New Letter Series – Dear Dr. Amjad Ayub Mirza, Please Stop Spewing Venom Against Pakistan

Ayub Saab, it’s important that one realize the importance of being a part of the army, sorry, Pakistan! Well, isn’t that the same? Every country has an army; in Pakistan, the army has a country!!

Dear Dr. Amjad Ayub Mirza,

After all, Pakistan has honored you by stealing, umm wrong choice of words, sharing (that’s the word I was looking for) your wealth with China and other countries! After all, we live in a global village, Dr. Saab! Whether they share the wealth with China, North Korea, or America (a stretch but they do need the $$$), the bottom line is they ARE NOT SHARING IT WITH INDIA! Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that!! Let’s see why, shall we, Dr. Ayub.

Gilgit-Baltistan (G/B), your state, was formed in 1947 (October). Formed! It existed before that but, for whatever reason, William Brown (also known as Waqar Brown by those, from the IRP, who wanted an Islamic touch) decided to “create” G/B. The natural resources are there for the world to use; what’s the point in having all those resources and not allowing the Chinese to use them? So, they make all the semiconductors using the freshwater that is so needed to make it. So what if you don’t get anything in return? I mean, isn’t that expecting too much??

When we talked, you told me that a majority of the people are Shias. What right do you have to live? You’re Kafirs, err not Sunnis!! You don’t have the right to resist..in fact, you don’t have any rights whatsoever! To take such a small thing and ask for complete liberation from a country that has given you SO MUCH! Isn’t that asking for a little too much??? Didn’t they give you a life? So what, if they didn’t allow you to eat or drink? Or took your children and you never saw them again??

Dr. Amjad, it’s very obvious that you’re being overreactive! So, you become a part of India. What next? So what if you get a chance to eat and drink, or you get a chance to see your children when they come back from school? Or, you have a job other than working for the army or as a stone thrower (is that grammatically right? Eh, who cares!!) I think, I just contradicted what I was trying to say so scratch that!!

Gilgit City will likely have industries like the rest of us! So, they already have industries! Like, umm let me think..! Well, I thought about it and came up with zilch! As in nothing!! Oh yeah, your people were asked to work at the different mines to get all the precious stones so the army could better the lives of the entire state! Did you see Lahore or Islamabad? Or Karachi? Or Rawalpindi? Have you seen the Defense Housing Authority buildings? They’re all a result of your people being employed!! So, the next place to be developed is NOT Beijing but, Gilgit City!! You will have so many airports and train stations that you will not know what to do with them!!! Give the Pakistani government 100-200 years!! So what if, by then, the rest of the world would be traveling in rockets or using jet packs? At least you’ll have water to drink and, MAYBE, food to eat!!

Human rights are overrated! Right to breathe, the right to speak, the right to express your thoughts, the right to do whatever you think is right! Too many human rights! People need to be a little more submissive!! Submit to the army, submit to the people’s will, submit to..just submit!!! Don’t stop submitting!! Being a servitor is better than, well, being dead!!!

Ayub Saab, it’s important that one realize the importance of being a part of the army, sorry, Pakistan! Well, isn’t that the same? Every country has an army; in Pakistan, the army has a country!! The bottom line and this IS the biggest misunderstanding of the existence of Pakistan, is the army is NOT a violent group! They’re very misunderstood; the reality, and Ayub Khan and other generals exemplified this, is that the Pakistani army is the MAJOR part of the International Peace Keeping Force. It’s a wonderful thing; please DON’T say that the word PEACE is misspelled and it should be PIECE, although they’re now fighting for pieces(of meat, rotis, and fruit), all because the people don’t want to pay them their salaries!! Really??? Is this what the army has come to?

Amjad Sir, it’s time to recognize the POWER of Pakistan and the Pakistani rupee (it is not what the conversion rate is, well, yeah it’s all about the conversion rate but..anyways, the rupee will soon become the Dong or Yang or whatever the Chinese currency is). Till then, let’s hope the Pakistani army can sustain itself.
