Ambassador Rashad Hussain stated “The Indian state of Karnataka should not determine permissibility of religious clothing”.
This statement should be withdrawn since the Karnataka High Court has the right to make a decision in this regard and the Ambassador’s opinion interferes with the correct functioning of judiciary in a sister friendly democracy. Please also request the learned ambassador to apologize.
