It has become a fashion now a days to grab attention by throwing up very usual and non distinctive issues and carrying out protests, mobilizing support using social media. In India J N U has become the manufacturing venue for sedition and violence. They sew up some story or the other and pitchfork that into centre stage with the help of anti nationalists like kanniah kumar and SWARA BHASKER. This trend is further propped up by congress politicians to get [political mileage. This is very dangerous. George Flyod is a very stray incident and unnecessarily politicizing will cost USA in very big and irreversible manner. BLM is actually non issue since USA in fact rolled out umpteen incentives to compete with many other whites. Will JOE BIDEN realize his miscalculated follies and refrain from adding fuel to the raging misconceived B L M.

In every protest there will be mischievous elements that will take advantage of the situation to derive undue benefits by breaking the law. This does not mean protests should by design are a recipe for anarchy. Protests are a means of providing feedback to the administrators and policy makers. The first past the pole electoral democracy has some well know limitations, especially when there is no mechanism for “Right to Recall” in terms of doubts around elected government and its leadership being a true representative of the people of a country/state/region as well as the ability of such government/leaders to protect people who might not have voted for the government. One can understand the rationale behind Shaheen Bagh protest being a headache for government and its supporters in the media. The police state can barge into universities and beat the students, look the other way when hooligans from outside university campus beat up university students but will not tolerate Shaheen Bagh type of protests. Do we have the moral authority to talk about George Floyd killing in US when a disproportionately high number of people belonging to minority community were massacred in the capital of our own country in the 21st century?
