Dr. Subramanian Swamy, talking at the 2nd convention of Virat Hindustan Sangam (VHS) said that he will offer his services to the Modi Government to act as in interlocutor on behalf of the government. Expanding on this further, he said that on January 9th and 10th there will be meeting of VHS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) to chart out the way to built the Ram Temple.
He said that the process will be done using a systematic, legal approach, taking the Muslims along with him. He added that he is confident that he can convince India that in exchange for the 40,000 temples on which Mosques have been built, he can convince the Muslims to allow temples at Ayodhya, Mathura and Varanasi and can have the remaining 39997 mosques.
In Ayodhya today, there are several disused mosques which now house cow sheds (Gau shala). This is due to the fact that the Muslims have moved away from these mosques, allowing them to be used as Gau Shala. This shows that Muslims are large hearted and have been accommodative.
Dr. Swamy elaborated on the concept further, saying that he is planning on approaching the Supreme Court with all the facts so far on the case and ask for a speedy decision in order to start the Ram construction.
