It may be remembered that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had declared that Kerala was worse than Somalia in treating the poor people.

Kerala, the land of Marxists-Mullahs and Methran’s, has found out a new strategy to eliminate incidents of poverty and starvation deaths. Comrades have deputed groups of party men to physically finish off those who are found to be starving and physically challenged to do any work for earning a square meal a day.

The “most literate and progressive” Kerala woke up on Saturday to a news about an Adivasi youth being lynched by a group of Marxist henchmen on charges of stealing food from the forest. Madhu, a 27-year-old youth, was beaten up to death in a most gruesome manner by a group of Muslim youths, believed to be Marxist workers. The incident occurred at Agali near Attappadi in Kerala. Agali and Attappadi are home to tribals who have made the forests their home. But they do not plunder the forest wealth, unlike the Marxists and Muslim League leaders.

The murders that have happened in the State are all part of our resistance and defense.

The Adivasis collect wood, fallen fruits, and vegetables from the periphery of reserve forests and sell it in the village market to earn their livelihood. Madhu had gone inside the forest for collecting firewood and leaves to sell in the local market when the group consisting of Abdul Kareem, Hussain, Ubaid (a henchman of CPI-M MLA N Shamsuddeen),  and a local CPI-M leader Shamsu attacked him. All of them have been arrested by the local police following widespread protests by the Adivasis over the lynching of Madhu. Reports coming from Agali state that Madhu was murdered with an ulterior motive. Kerala’s Adivasi lynching a case of more than mob fury. [1]

The gang initially tied Madhu with the dhoti he was wearing and beat him up with iron rods and wooden logs resulting in the victim’s skull getting broken. His rib cage was also broken by the Marxists. Though the police rushed to the area and took Madhu to a nearby hospital, the authorities said he was brought dead.

Ever since the Marxists came to power in Kerala, the Adivasis and the Scheduled Casts in the State are at the receiving end of the CPI-M goondaism. It may be noted that the CPI-M general secretary Sitaram Yechury declared at Thrissur on Thursday that his party men would finish off resistance of any kind towards the party’s agenda to expand its base in the State. He said this while addressing the State Conference of the CPI-M which began at Thrissur on Thursday. “What we are doing in Kerala is resisting the growth of the BJP-RSS right-wing forces. The murders that have happened in the State could not be described as political murders. They are all part of our resistance and defense,” said Yechury. “Violence is not part of CPI-M’s culture”[2]

The self-styled intellectuals of Kerala, have not opened their mouth even once to condemn the dastardly action of the CPI-M goons.

The murder of Madhu took place within two hours of Yechury making this open declaration.  Yechury also justified the recent murder of Shuhaib, a local leader of the Indian National Congress at Kannur by the activists of the CPI-M. “These are all part of our resistance against imperialism and right-wing politics practiced by the Hindus in the country,” he declared amidst loud cheers by the delegates.

It may be remembered that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had declared that Kerala was worse than Somalia in treating the poor people. The Marxists and the Congress leaders had taken strong objection to the statement by the Prime Minister. The lynching of Madhu substantiates what the Prime Minister had told.

A group of Marxist and Muslim League leaders are working overtime to evict the Adivasis from the periphery of the forests so that they could annex their forest land and plunder the entire forest wealth. Kerala, which once boasted of 25 percent of forest cover in the State has been denuded of all green cover and the total canopy of the forest in the state is less than seven percent. The cartel of Marists, Muslim League leaders and Methrans (Church) have literally plundered the entire forest wealth of the State. Their mission is to take complete control of the remaining reserve forests and start rubber plantations. The Marxists are in talks with  K M Mani, the king of encroachers, who was also the finance minister of Kerala. Mani heads the Kerala Congress (Mani)  and is keen on joining the Marxist bandwagon because the Congress in Kerala is facing internal problems. (More about in another occasion). The self-styled intellectuals of Kerala, have not opened their mouth even once to condemn the dastardly action of the CPI-M goons.  The only person to condemn the act was Adoor Gopalakrishnan who while addressing an RSS meet at Kollam on Saturday said that Kerala is no more the safe place as was made out earlier. Without naming the Marxists, the ace filmmaker said intolerance and greed have taken away the conscience of the State.
