In a serious breach of confidentiality, a letter written by the Indian Ambassador to the United States, Harsh Vardhan Shringla to Eliot Engel, Chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs, has been leaked and tweeted out. Indian American Manga Anantatmula, who is contesting as a Republican for the 11th District of Virginia, pointed this out in a series of tweets as shown at the end of this article.
A copy of the letter was tweeted out by a twitter handle @standwkashmir (tweet shown below). The million-dollar question is how this handle leaked the communication of a diplomat which is considered to be highly confidential, thus putting a possible dent on trustworthiness in conducting business with House Committee on Foreign Affairs. In a series of tweets, Anantatmula expressed her concern to President Donald Trump and the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, imploring them to crack down on such handles, which seem to be siding with Islamic radicals.
Here is the letter sent by #Indian ambassador Harsh Shringla to the @HouseForeign in an attempt to block the resolutions on #Kashmir. How many lies can we even point out in the letter? Lets begin w #1: Kashmir is a disputed territory under international law. #facts. pic.twitter.com/bwwv55mX9d

She also took issue with some of the statements made by elected representatives in the Congress, Premila Jayapal and Steve Watkins, who she alleged were making numerous unsubstantiated and partisan statements on the Kashmir issue and the abrogation of Article 370 by the Indian government.
The GOP candidate urged Trump and Pompeo to investigate the links and nexuses of the culprits behind this leak. She further called on fellow American brothers and sisters to “wake up and stand united to fight the deep state to protect our nation from the hands of Terrorists within! Democratic leaders going too far. In protest, I declare showcasing of global terrorist genocides.”
