Chandrasekaran flags TCS Nashik case, announces internal investigation
Natarajan Chandrasekaran on Monday described the allegations emerging from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Nashik as “gravely concerning and anguishing”, and said a detailed internal investigation is underway.
In a statement, Chandrasekaran said the probe is being led by TCS Chief Operating Officer Arathi Subramanian to establish facts and identify those responsible.
The development follows complaints by eight women employees alleging workplace harassment, including sexual harassment and coercion. Police have formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to examine the case, and arrests have been made in connection with the allegations.
Company initiates action
TCS said it has taken the matter seriously, with some employees already suspended. The company reiterated its “zero-tolerance policy” towards harassment and misconduct and said it is cooperating fully with authorities.
Chandrasekaran stated that appropriate action would be taken based on the findings of the investigation, and that any necessary corrective measures would be implemented.
Authorities are continuing their probe, while the company reviews its internal processes in response to the incident.

TCS has been a big failure in living up to be vigilant company. It is another passive private govt company with lack of proper adminstration.
