Rs.100 coin to mark the 100th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode
The 100th episode of Prime Miniter Narendra Modi’s ‘Maan ki Baat’ will now get a coin format. The innovative idea of the currency division of the Finance Ministry of Nirmala Sitharaman told Shaktikanta Das governor of RBI, to bring out coins.
The government is pulling out all stops to mark the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ as a landmark event. On April 30, a new Rs.100 coin will be released to commemorate the 100th episode. The coins will be made from four metals — silver (50%), copper (40%), nickel (0.5%), and zinc (0.5%) — with the face bearing the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the center. ‘Satyamev Jayate’ will be inscribed below that.
The word ‘Bharat’ in Devanagari script will be inscribed to the left, while the right side will feature the word ‘India’ in English. One side will have the logo of the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, with the image of a microphone with sound waves and the year 2023 written on the image of the microphone.
