Udit Raj attacks RSS, PM Modi

Congress leader Udit Raj created a controversy on Friday after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand. Raj said that the RSS is using PM Modi all the time to ‘eradicate the evils of the Hindu religion’ so that conversion stops and they can make someone else the prime minister.

Earlier, the Congress leader made derogatory and indecent remarks about President Droupadi Murmu. He also defended himself saying that he has said nothing wrong and will not apologize to the President for his comment. The National Commission for Women (NCW) had summoned Congress leader Udit Raj for his indecent comments against the President.

Udit Raj tweeted, “RSS in Prayagraj is worried that conversions are happening. PM Modi has reached Kedarnath for the sixth time today. Nowadays he is spending most of his time at pilgrimage sites. RSS should spend the entire time of Modi Ji eradicating the evils of the Hindu religion so that the conversion stops and someone else is made the prime minister.”

The BJP strongly objected to the comment and said before the Gujarat election, there is competition between the AAP and the Congress on displaying their ‘rabid Hindu hatred‘.

Shehzad Poonawala hit back at the Congress and said, ‘Another example, from Shivraj Patil to Udit Raj – these statements are not a coincidence – these are vote bank experiments and industry. Ahead of the Gujarat elections, there is an appeasement contest between the AAP and the Congress as to who can polarize the vote bank with their fanatical Hindu hatred. All at the behest of the first family.”

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the famous Kedarnath and Badrinath temples in Uttarakhand. During his two-day tour of the state, Modi will inspect various ongoing development projects and lay foundation stones for new projects.
