The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to look into the petition filed by NDTV whistleblower and former Income Tax Commissioner S K Srivastava. In its Order dated July 22, the NHRC directed CBI to look into the petition filed by Srivastava alleging blatant human rights violations by certain officers in CBI, Finance Ministry and Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) by framing him in frivolous charges and torturing him including kidnapping before the recording of the arrest.
In the 58-page petition, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava alleged that senior officers in Finance Ministry including Revenue Secretary A B Pandey, CBDT Chairman P C Modi and former Chief Vigilance Commissioner K V Chowdary conspired to frame a frivolous CBI case against him when his petition against the “illegal termination” from service was pending before Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The former Income Tax Commissioner also accused the CBI’s Investigating Officer Rajeev Chandola of using certain non-government persons to kidnap him from the Supreme Court gate on Dec 17, 2019, at 11:30 AM, hours before recording his arrest.
Advocate Vishnu Sharma appeared for Srivastava before the NHRC, detailing the way how certain high officials in connivance with certain officials of CBI framed him on a frivolous case charging him of corruption, to malign him. Srivastava accused NDTV and its supporting politicians like former Finance Minister P Chidambaram behind these fake allegations.
The NHRC directed CBI to probe into the petition filed by SK Srivastava in eight weeks. Recently in an interview with PGurus Managing Editor Sree Iyer, Srivastava narrated how the CBI case was registered against him to prevent his entry back in service[1].

Unfortunate that SK Srivastava is hunted like this. He exposed NDTV and all corrupt united and fixed him. Sad part is BJP Govt could not protect him and worst was some crooks from ruling party also sided with the corrupt NDTV to hoist fake cases on Srivastava.
We wish all temples will be freed from the clutches of politicians .
