
The cabinet’s appointments committee has approved Amitabh Kant as CEO of Niti Aayog with a tenure of two years.
[dropcap color=”#008040″ boxed=”yes” boxed_radius=”8px” class=”” id=””]A[/dropcap]mitabh Kant, was on Wednesday named the first full-time chief executive of the newly created bank, and will have a tenure of two years.
He is currently secretary in department of industrial policy and promotion.
According to a department of personnel and training order, the cabinet’s appointments committee has approved Kant as CEO with a tenure of two years.
He will take charge after his retirement from service. He retires at the end of this month. Kant has been holding additional charge as chief executive, Niti Aayog since December 2015.
