[dropcap color=”#008040″ boxed=”yes” boxed_radius=”8px” class=”” id=””]N[/dropcap]itish Kumar visiting a tantric! Well, not many would associate the Bihar chief minister mumbo jumbo of occult. But on Sunday a video released by BJP leader Giriraj Singh, showing Nitish with a tantric, ostensibly to seek his blessing for victory in the ongoing assembly polls, has brought a great deal of embarrassment to Nitish. The BJP has tried to use to video to create a rift between Nitish and his comrade-in-arms Lalu Prasad Yadav, saying Nitish visited the tantric to get rid of his ally.
In the video, Nitish is seen visiting the tantric in Mokama along with Janata Dal (U) leader Neeraj Kumar, who is the party candidate from the assembly segment.
At one point in the video, the tantric hugged Nitish Kumar and blessed him and censured him for joining hands with Lalu Prasad. The tantric was even heard saying “Lalu murdabad”, (around offset 2:00).

But before he could do so his younger brother (Nitish Kumar) reached a tantrik to get rid of Lalu Prasad,” Giriraj Singh told reporters.
Taking a dig at Kumar, Union Minister Arun Jaitley said, “when the situation is bad, even tantra-mantra does not help.”
But the quote of the day came from Lalu Prasad. Feigning ignorance about the video he said, “ I am a bigger tantrik than these tantriks.”

Nitish bête noire and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi attacked him saying “he claims to be a socialist leader but promoting orthodox believes by visiting tantriks”.
