World Economic Forum Davos Agenda: PM Modi to deliver ‘State of the World’ special address Today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the World Economic Forum’s Davos Agenda virtual event on 17 January, joining a host of other global leaders. The WEF is set to host the event on its website and social media channels from 17-21 January.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a ‘State of the World‘ special address at the World Economic Forum’s Davos Agenda on Monday.
The Prime Minister’s Office release a statement which said: “Prime Minister Modi will deliver ‘State of the World’ special address on January 17 via video conferencing. The virtual event will be held from January 17 to 21.” PM Modi is scheduled to address the WEF at 8:30 PM IST via video conference on Tuesday, the official further said.
It will also be addressed by several heads of state including Prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio, President of the European Commission Ursua von der Leyen, Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison, President of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett, Chinese President Xi Jinping, among others.
The event will also witness the participation of top industry leaders, international organizations, and civil society, who will deliberate on critical challenges being faced by the world today and discuss how to address them.
