A man turns professional queuer for rich people in London, makes up to 160 pounds a day
Freddie Beckitt, also known as the professional queuer earns his money by standing in line for rich people who either have no time to stand in a queue or simply don’t want to stand in the queue. He warns a whopping £160 (Rs 16,000) a day for his job as a queuer.
The 31-year-old has been doing the job for the last three years alongside his career as a historical fiction writer.
Beckitt normally charges £20 an hour to stand in line for other people, and he says it comes naturally to him as he is from London.
He says that his clients vary from busy young families to older pensioners and sometimes he has been waiting in the freezing cold in the dead of winter, but the summer is his busiest period when big events and exhibitions are on.
He’s also happy to get paid to: look after pets, pack, help with house moves, run errands and take part in a spot of gardening. Beckitt advertises his skills on TaskRabbit.
