The film Gandhada Gudi was late actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s dream project

A teaser from late Puneeth Rajkumar‘s dream project ‘Gandhada Gudi‘ has hit the internet on Monday, December 6. It is a film that captures the beauty and culture of Karnataka. Gandhada Gudi is about an adventure journey taken by Puneet in association with wildlife photographer and filmmaker Amoghavarsha.

The teaser was released to coincide with the birth anniversary of his mother and producer late Smt Parvathamma Rajkumar. “Gandhada Gudi” is backed by the actor’s home banner PRK Productions.

The clip was formally released online by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar. She tweeted, “Appu’s dream, an incredible journey. It’s time for the return – “Gandhada Gudi.” The same clip was shared by Shiva Rajkumar and other celebrities on social media sites.

The film is a documentary on the wildlife of Karnataka and is set to release theatrically next year. The one-min teaser features footage of the late star in the wilderness, travelling through the state’s jungles and exploring its underwater world.

The film was the late actor’s dream project. Puneet was one of the biggest stars of Kannada cinema. Unfortunately died at the age of 46, after suffering a cardiac arrest on October 29.

The official Twitter handle of PRK Productions tweeted the film’s title teaser and wrote, “Appu’s dream, an incredible journey. It’s time for the return – ‘Gandhada Gudi.”

Puneet had announced the project to his fans with a teaser poster on October 27, just two days before his untimely demise.

Puneet had tweeted, “A story was born decades ago. Our people, the glory of our land. Our grassroots are spread all over the world. Inspiration for generations was indomitable. The time has come to recount that history.”
