Congress, BJP trade barbs over Rahul’s viral video
On Tuesday, soon after MP Rahul Gandhi’s video of partying at a Kathmandu club surfaced on social media, the Congress and BJP exchanged barbs after the video went viral.
A row has erupted over a video doing the rounds on social media which shows Congress leader Rahul Gandhi partying at a nightclub reportedly in Nepal’s Kathmandu.
Several BJP leaders on Tuesday shared the video on Twitter and slammed the Congress leadership amid communal clashes in Rajasthan where the party is in power.
Law Minister Kiren Rijiju retweeted the video and said, “Regular Parties, Vacations, Holidays, Pleasure Trips, Private Foreign Visits etc are nothing new to the nation now. As a private citizen there’s no issue at all but when an MP, a permanent boss of a national political party who keeps preaching others…”

He tweets about various crisis in India but prefers bars over ‘Bharat ke log’. Rahul is not even a part-time politician but a ‘party time’ politician. Not the first time… remember his party mode post 26/11.”
