RSS Executive Committee meeting to discuss atrocity on Hindus in Bangladesh and other issues

Three-day Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh‘s (RSS) Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal Bhaitak (national executive committee meeting) began on Thursday at the Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra in Madhavnagar of Dharwad district.

The assembly at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra Campus in Dharwad witnessed the participation of at least 350 pranth pramukhs of the organization including Sar Sangh Chalak (RSS Chief) Mohan Bhagwat and Sar Karyawah (RSS General Secretary) Dattatreya Hosabale.

At the meeting, discussions on the situation of minority Hindus in Bangladesh will be of top priority, the recent violent attacks on the temples and Hindus would be discussed.
The pramukhs will talk about formulating a policy to protect the persecuted Hindus. They will also discuss future plans.

Sangh’s Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar mourned the attack on Hindus in the neighbouring nation and had also assured a probable resolution on the matter. “We all know that recently there were large-scale attacks on Hindus and the ‘Puja Pandals’ in Bangladesh during Durga Pooja. Many people were killed and injured. There were protests at many places on this issue. This topic will also be discussed during the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal Baithak and there is a possibility of passing a resolution on this issue,” Ambekar said at a press conference.

Sunil Ambekar had earlier said: “The baithak will discuss centenary celebrations of RSS as it was founded in 1925. At the meeting discussions on what can be done in three years and on unfinished goals of RSS, expansion, and training of swayamsevaks (volunteers), will also be held.”

Security has been beefed up in the premises as Mohan Bhagwat is a Z-category security protectee. The meeting is being held for the second time on the same premises.

The previous meeting of the RSS for the first time was held on the virtual medium owing to Covid induced guidelines and restrictions. The national executive committee meet is held every year towards the end of October, said an RSS functionary.

RSS leaders started the session by paying floral tributes to the portrait of Bharat Mata (Mother India) and with the chants of Vedic mantras.
