Lawmakers are reportedly preparing legislation targeting Trump and Netanyahu
Iran is reportedly considering a controversial proposal to place a massive bounty on US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to multiple international media reports.
The proposal, currently under discussion in Iran’s parliament, would reportedly offer 50 million euros (around $58 million) to anyone involved in assassinating the two leaders following recent military strikes on Tehran.

According to reports by Iran Wire and The Telegraph UK, Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, announced that lawmakers were preparing a bill titled “Counter-Action by the Military and Security Forces of the Islamic Republic”.
The proposed legislation would reportedly formalise a payment of 50 million euros to any individual or group responsible for killing US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The bill is expected to be voted on by the Iranian parliament in the coming weeks.
Iran links proposal to strikes on Tehran
Reports claimed the proposed bounty is tied to the February 28 strikes on Tehran that allegedly killed Iran’s then-supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
Azizi reportedly stated that Trump, Netanyahu and US CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper should face “counter-action” for their alleged role in the operation.
Another Iranian lawmaker, Mahmoud Nabavian, reportedly said parliament would soon vote on rewards for whoever “sends Trump and Netanyahu to hell”.
“Kill Trump” campaign resurfaces
The reports come shortly after pro-regime Iranian outlet Masaf claimed the government had secured $50 million for a campaign titled “Kill Trump”.
Iran-linked cyber group “Handala” also recently claimed it had allocated funds for the “elimination” of Trump and Netanyahu.
The group said the reward would go to anyone taking “actual action” against the two leaders, framing it as retaliation against US and Israeli actions.
Concerns over regional escalation
The reported proposal has intensified concerns about further escalation in tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States.
Analysts say the rhetoric marks a significant step beyond earlier propaganda campaigns and threats issued through fatwas and state-linked groups.
The development comes even as Iran is reportedly attempting to revive negotiations with Washington through a revised peace proposal.
However, US officials quoted by Axios suggested Tehran’s latest offer failed to make meaningful progress.
“We are really not making a lot of progress. We are at a very serious place today. The pressure is on them to be responsive in the right way,” a US official reportedly said.
