Trump issued a stark warning, saying a major escalation could unfold soon.

Amid the rising tensions, Iran has reportedly cut off all diplomatic and indirect communication channels with the United States.

The move signals a further breakdown in relations, even as the conflict with Israel continues to intensify.

    Fears of wider escalation grow

Recent weeks have seen sustained strikes on Iranian targets and growing instability in the region. Experts warn that any further escalation could have serious global consequences, especially with key routes like the Strait of Hormuz at the centre of tensions.
