Swamy takes oath as RS member, jumps into action

Swamy hits the ground running; after taking the oath, he was asked by the BJP whip to raise #AgustaWestland issue in the RS.

Here is a video that shows Dr. Swamy taking oath as a Rajya Sabha member. Prime Minister Modi was present at the occasion and enthusiastically welcomed Dr. Swamy to the house. He will bring his valuable experience and expertise to help BJP navigate the last bastion of Congress and the Left, the Rajya Sabha.

Dr. Swamy wasted no time, demanding a suspension of the Question Hour to allow a debate on the AgustaWestland deal.

In a later development, the BJP Parliamentary whip asked Dr. Swamy to raise the issue of #AgustaWestland in the Upper house tomorrow (See the picture below):

In an earlier post, we had predicted that proceedings in Rajya Sabha will liven up due to his presence. If the Government wants to divest Rajya Sabha TV today, it will get top Rupee.
