Earlier today, two Air India Express flights carrying Indian evacuees reached India from Budapest and Bucharest via Kuwait, at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) carrying a total of 370 passengers.
The CSMIA authorities had deployed special measures for the speedy exit and luggage clearance of the Ukraine evacuees and following the COVID-19 protocols.
Meanwhile, Pisochyn has been evacuated of all Indian citizens. Earlier today, the Indian Embassy in Hungary said that it has begun the last leg of Operation Ganga and had requested all the students staying in their accommodation (other than arranged by Embassy) to reach the centre.
A dedicated Twitter handle has been set up to assist in the evacuation of Indians from Ukraine. The Twitter handle has been named @opganga. It has also set up 24×7 control centres to assist in the evacuation of Indians through the border crossing points with Hungary, Poland, Romania, and the Slovak Republic.
The government officials have also indicated that another flight is expected early on Monday morning.
