What is the Indian Government up to? Trifurcation or abolishing Article 35-A or announcing elections? Prof. Subhash Kak, who was born in Srinagar and who grew up in Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh shares his perspective.
The pussilanimity of Nehru intentional or otherwise was the main reason for the long postponement of a decisive action. It was sad that both Nehru and Gandhi played into the hands of Jinnah and Sheikh Abdullah who had their own agenda with cunning machinations. History will never be kind to both Nehru and Gandhi when the deeper probes reveal their inept handling of the Kashmir issue as well as the inability to recognize how important it was for us to take J&K accession offered on a silver plate.
Congratulations, indeed a command performance . Bravo Sri Narendrabhai and Sri Amit shahji. I salute you and admire your courage and conviction.
It was sad that successive Indian governments failed to integrate J&K to India. Hats off to Modi2.0.
