Why is BJP silent on Arnab Goswami?
Many years ago a prominent BJP person told me – if you stand up for the Gandhi family, one thing you can be assured is that they will safeguard and protect you, even if you are looting the nation; however, that cannot be said for BJP, because you will end up having to fend for yourselves if you are in trouble. One should not paint a broad brush as can be seen just recently how protection was provided to Kangana Ranaut. But what is inexplicable is why BJP is silent on the “potential-daylight-murder” of Arnab Goswami? How can a country explain a revengeful State Government, one that simply yanks away on dubious charges on the most popular anchor in the country followed by millions of people not just from India but across from the world and then torture him? Can any journalists take on any political corruption in the future? Then what is the fate of a common man? Is this new India where investors can invest with a transparent rule of law?
Arnab is a national icon; a true nationalist and he has taken on issues that no journalist in India dares to but when he was subjected to this there does not seem to be any remedy in sight. Even if the thuggish State Government does not physically kill him, they can tremendously intimidate him so that he will never be able to function as he did before, or they could hurt his health to such an extent that he will never be able to work.

If this happens to a leftist media house like NDTV, the news media across the world would be screaming and the Indian Government at all levels would step in to address it. Many of them such as Pranoy Roy, Rajdeep Sardesai, Shekhar Gupta, Barkha Dutt, have vilified, lied and character assassinated Narendra Modi for decades but they are today minting money and will come with double the force the minute Modi and BJP government falters. But Arnab who stood for the nation and BJP today – stands vitiated and has to scream for help.
Do logical or peaceful methods work with thugs?
Any delay in action could result in most grievous damage. Dr. Subramanian Swamy has been offering his suggestions on how the Centre can handle this by using Article 256, 257, and if that doesn’t work use Article 356.

I am also mentioning below the hundreds of crores of assets of Uddhav Thackeray and his family posted on social media. How did they make all this money? What are Shiv Sena’s connections to the underworld? How many billions have Sharad Pawar and family looted and perhaps involved in many criminal activities? Sonia Gandhi’s (Antonia Maino) family is out on bail for years now and we even can’t begin to list their family crimes. P Chidambaram is roaming around freely after the national plunder he facilitated for the Gandhi family and for his own family while hundreds of millions of kids today cannot get a full meal each day. Is the Centre so helpless that it cannot stop this murder and book them?
I hope the Centre takes an action before it’s too late, it is probably late. We cannot create an Atma Nirbhar Bharat and hold our head high if we are silent in the face of this daylight murder. If we do not act swiftly against these sickening thugs that are still in the political elite of India, the consequences will be hazardous for all.

A big let down by BJP Govt., as can be seen in the case of Arnab Goswami. May be they have given a too longer rope for Maha Govt with a view that in a future election, the people of Maharashtra will throw away Shiva Sena and Congress together. But it did not take away the tarnish. They should have acted swiftly and
dismissed the Maha Govt. come what may, at lease after the release of Arnab Goswami.
I’m as disturbed as PG Guru or any proud Hindu with Maharashtra government murdering democracy. I’m with every fellow humanity who feel the pain that the Central government didn’t implement President’s Rule. Note, Indira Gandhi during her time evoked Presidents rule 50+ times and Narendra Modi did not involve the same even once.
Having said above, I used to question Narendra Modi and Amit Shah as well. But post 2019, I have stopped questioning the duo. I know they will act at appropriate time.
I rather focus my energy on how I can uplift Dharma within my own individual capacity.

JFA caveat to media persons in India
Guwahati: On the eve of National Press Day (on 16 November), Journalists’ Forum Assam (JFA) appeals to every professional journalist in India to get united for the cause of truthful journalism and avoid personal interest in deliberating views so that it cannot return as a trap to oneself in the days to come.
The forum of scribes, while expressing serious concern over the way Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami was picked up by the Mumbai Police (nonetheless it is not first of its kind in India) apparently for a closed case against him, appeals to everyone in the media not to justify the unusual police actions.
“JFA is not advocating impunity to Arnab Goswami as it believes that the law should take its own course. But for any reason, political vendettas must not influence the actions against a vocal journalist who might have sizable supports bases among the audience,” said a statement from the forum.
It strongly denounces the argument that Goswami was hurriedly arrested following the old case of abetting an individual for suicide and not as a journalist. This logic is nothing but a hypocritical argument and also creates a trap for everyone in the profession, because the same logic could be used in the future to arrest any journalist by the political forces in power.
The forum believes that journalists are not above the law and if they are found guilty of any offence they have to face legal consequences. Standing rock solid behind this belief, the JFA argues that if journalists are arrested for political vendetta and that too on the pretext of pursuing an old case or even opening new proceedings, then journalists must speak out and ensure that these acts of fascist tendencies against the institution of free media is called out so that rights to free speech and professional duties of a scribe is never curtailed.
At the same time, the forum of active journalists based in northeast India opines that the professional journalists irrespective of his/her place of work like newspapers, news agencies, news channels, digital platforms, etc, including independent scribes (whose principal evocation is journalism), should come under one common media guiding body or authority so that all of them can enjoy similar rights & liberties under the same guidelines.
Hence it emphasizes on empowering Press Council of India (PCI) with the inclusion of news channels and digital platforms under its ambit. The general belief among many in the television media that satellite news channels are more rewarding, glamorous and are influential is bereft of rationale and has no merit as it would only continue to divide the Indian media fraternity and create more harm for itself and other members of the media, than any good.
Finally the forum urges the Union government in New Delhi to formulate policies for enhancing PCI to Media Council of India with the modification of Working Journalists Act at the earliest. Moreover, it requests the professional journalists engaged in news-channels and digital platforms of India to come forward and ask for their due space in the new-found council as well.

Chidambarams, Vadras, Gandys, Shivakumar et al were never jailed. Poll Promise of weeding out Corruption since 2013-2014 has not been fulfilled by Modi. It is OK if he failed in Demonetisation drive and bring back black money stashed abroad but he let down poor Indians very badly as he has not fulfilled what is feasible and well within his reach. For getting any works done in India, you require the services of CONSULTANT or Dalal. Unfortunately being the son of army officer, Arnab was told to honestly serve the nation and he will be rewarded . This logic applies only democratic countries. We pretend to be democratic, where law applies equally to all but in practice we follow a mini zamindari system where dynasty parties are zamindars and they follow their own laws. This system is still followed in Pakistan where local leaders own not only villages but the villagers too.
We are a nation mentally living in colonial era, where district collector has a PEON with cross band carrying his personal belongings. Police and railway officers have staff doing domestic work. This culture Is prevalent in Private industries also. We should have Atmanirbharata to destroy this colonial Legacy and have a fair and simple judicial system accessible to all citizens.
BJP is unable to extricate from a legacy, where they are brainwashed in RSS and needs massive overhauling to meet the aspirations of honest citizens. Man made laws are made to protect honesty and can be violated if they are helping the dishonest. In case of Arnab, BJP has chickened out pretending they’re are following man made laws, which were followed by our ancestral kings. See the result, Hindus have lost 80% of their kingdoms. BJP is still following MK Gandhi and my advice please follow SC Bose or else Hindus and nationalists should form another political party. They should learn from Owaisi a man of guts, who protects his followers. Advice to Arnab, don’t spoil your future giving platform to BJP ministers, they are only making use of you. Learn from Duryodhana, when Karna was insulted and humiliated by Pandavas, he protected him.
Where is our bumbling fool of a union law minister with his ear-to-ear grin? Sleeping at the switch? The only difference between Jack Dorsey and the Maha thugs is that the former deftly gagged the NY Post story with software while the latter used brute force and blatantly violated a (famous) individual’s constitutional rights. Mota Bhai (Amit Shah) where are you? Shame on the BJP government.
Modi has allowed Bengal and Kerala governments to boocher BJP supporters and Modi hasn’t taken any action. BJP supporters must now know that they are just fodder to BJP’s politics. Nationalists of India should look for Modi’s substitute.
