New Delhi, Beef update
Dr. Swamy expressed satisfaction at the government’s move to gradually reduce subsidies for Beef exports.
I am happy that the Government has taken steps on my letter for abolishing subsidies given to exporters of beef. This is one big step for meeting the Constitutional Directive Principles for governance by a complete ban on cow slaughter. It makes cow slaughter uneconomic for export.
