“You reap what you sow”: Capt Amarinder advises Harish Rawat

Former Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Wednesday took a swipe at Harish Rawat, the former CM of Uttarakhand from Congress after he alleged non-cooperation from his organization.

Rawat had played a crucial role in the removal of Amarinder Singh as chief minister of Punjab, who was replaced by Charanjit Singh Channi.

Capt Amarinder tweeted, “You reap what you sow! All the best for your future endeavors (if there are any) Harish Rawat Ji.”

Former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat on Wednesday posted a series of cryptic tweets baring his anxiety at the state of affairs in the organization and hinting at an urge for rebellion.

In veiled yet clear references to the Gandhis, Rawat said he has had enough and sought divide guidance out of the situation.

In a series of tweets Harish Rawat said, “It is a strange predicament. I have to swim in the sea of elections and the party organization instead of supporting me is turning it back on me and playing a negative role in most places,” said Rawat, former Uttrakhand chief minister and the current party campaign chairman for the election-bound state.

“The power has left many crocodiles there. The representatives of those on whose orders I have to swim are tying my hands and feet. Many times a thought is coming in my mind that now it is enough, swam a lot, now it is time for rest!”

“Then secretly a voice is rising from one corner of my mind ‘Na dainyam na bhapagam’ I am in a state of great humiliation, may the new year show the way. I believe that Lord Kedarnath Ji will guide me in this situation.”

Rawat was the Punjab affairs in charge of the Congress at the time when Capt Amarinder made an unceremonious exit as the Punjab chief minister in September amid a bitter tussle with state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Capt Amarinder in his resignation letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi in November had slammed Rawat and dubbed him as the “most dubious individual”.
