My Letter Series – Dear Modiji, Please DO NOT Build A Temple On Any Other Mosques

Modiji, there’s a lot to be learned from our neighbors to the west. Talk to the very respected journalists from NDTV and the likes, and they will be happy to tell you what we need to learn.

Dear Modiji,

Sir, what was the purpose of building a mosque on the Babri Masjid? After all, national harmony is way more important than a mythical figure, Ram (Thank you, Sonia Gandhi)! How does the nation benefit from this temple? We now have Muslims and Christians worried about their mosques and churches, and whether we have decided to raze them to the ground. So what if these temples are historic and have existed for over 2000 years! In English, there’s a famous adage that people use: The Old Has To Make Way For The New! So, a temple was brought down and a mosque was built, some 600 years ago. That mosque was also historic!! Let’s forget the fact that the person it was named after was NEVER born in India. We need to be able to empathize with the minorities more than with the Hindu population. How can it be Sab Ka Sath, Sab Ka Vikas, Sab Ka Vishwas, if you don’t have the Muslims with you!

Now, let’s get to another serious point, Mr. Prime Minister. Why are we buying Rafales and having the Indian defense establishments indigenously build the Tejas aircraft and other armaments? Do we really need to have an airforce with those many fighters? We should follow the non-violent policies that the very respected Soniaji proscribed to: use the monies for different purposes and make the armed forces use existing equipment. Bulletproof jackets for what? They’re army people! They swore they would lay down their lives for the country. Now, we’re trying to stop them from laying their lives? Do we really need DRDO? They come up with all kinds of fancy armaments and expect this country to fund them? Why? We need to re-examine our priorities, Sir. It’s more important to have equanimity between neighbors. Look at Pakistan. They have not upgraded their military, use what they bought 30 years ago, and are happy! Yes, I know, they also have the JF-17, but that’s Chinese. They’d be happy if that aircraft took off at least once, which it hasn’t done till now. Forget about landing!

Modiji, you may not know that the most revered Pandit Nehru and Jinnah had an agreement. It was that Pakistan would hire all AMU graduates into their government cadre.

Another point to ask you about is, this respect for women. Why? Women are supposed to work in the kitchen and be there for our “entertainment” when we don’t have a functioning TV at home. To be honest, Sir, this respect thing is over-rated. Again, let’s look at our neighbors and see how well their women are doing. It’s not like they respect their women. However, women there seem to be subservient and listen to the, obviously more, macho men. Because the women there are quiet, they’re allowing the men to be macho. Our men are turning out to be wimps! Case in point, Rahul baba. If the women, in his family, would allow him to be more demanding, we would see a more macho version. Women are there only to bear our children, whether they like it or not! They shouldn’t have any dreams or aspirations other than keeping the men happy! That’s what constitutes a happy family; one where the man is in charge, and the women are servitors.

Tokyo Olympics: Why do you think it’s necessary to congratulate every athlete that participates or wins anything? They’ve trained for that and should win! To single out Neeraj Chopra or any other athlete shows the population that you’ve got nothing else to work on! Look at Imran Khan! Being an athlete beyond compare, he doesn’t have time to talk to any of his athletes or encourage them, as he is EXTREMELY BUSY making his country so much better than the USA, Germany, Japan, and the UK. India doesn’t even rank close to how good his country is doing right now! That’s how a PM should be, Sir, not someone that is wishing athletes, prostrating before women, and talking about India’s defense and growing economy. Our economy is still in the doldrums; don’t believe people that tell you India’s economy is now the 4th ranking economy in the world. They lie. The truth is, Pakistan is the 4th ranking economy and India is also the 4th but from the bottom. We need a Prime Minister that listens to what the opposition wants and ensures they are happy! That’s an inclusive government, Sir; what you’re doing every day, making the opposition look bad, is not good for the country.

Kashmir: When we are struggling to make ends meet, is it really wise to keep possession of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh? These three states should belong to an economy that can support them; like Pakistan. With its flourishing $4 trillion economy, it can build roads, airports, hospitals, 5-Star hotels, schools, and colleges plus build the economy of those states just like they have in POK (what they call Azad Kashmir). Muzzafarabad, the capital of POK, is a flourishing city with 6 airports around; they needed just one but they had the money and built 5 more. Even though these 5 are unused by commercial airlines, the Pakistan Air Force has taken it upon themselves to maintain these airports till commercial airlines fly out of them. That’s magnanimity at its best, Mr. Prime Minister.

Aligarh Muslim University: Modi Sir, you may not know that the most revered Pandit Nehru and Jinnah had an agreement. It was that Pakistan would hire all AMU graduates into their government cadre. I’m serious Sir! Look it up. Why can’t these most honorable educated graduates still be passed onto Pakistan? Just because India is paying for Pakistan’s official cadre, the then-home minister stopped it? Can we restart this process? So what if the Indian population is paying for Pakistan’s government cadre? Think of it as building bridges with our estranged neighbor.

Modiji, there’s a lot to be learned from our neighbors to the west. Talk to the very respected journalists from NDTV and the likes, and they will be happy to tell you what we need to learn. Trusting you will follow my advice and, oh, by the way, pigs do fly!!!
